Flying Heritage Collection's FW-190 Reassembled


The Flying Heritage Collection's FW-190 was reassembled today at their Paine Field hangar. This particular airplane crashed near Leningrad on July 19, 1943 and lay undisturbed until discovery in 1989. It was recovered and restored to flying condition. FW-190A 1227 will make it's flying debut with the P-51 Mustang during the Flying Heritage Collection's Summer Fly Day on June 18. Fly Days are scheduled from May 21-September 24, admission is free. The Flying Heritage Collection is located at Paine Field – 3407 109th Street SW, Everett, Wash. 98204. Free parking is available outside the hangar facility.
