N787FT taxis to 34L for a north departure.



After waiting several hours for the required 1500 foot ceiling, N787FT takes off from Paine Field at 2:40 pm and joins up with T-33 N416X. At 5:45 pm the 787 was over Mount Rainier with T-38 N38FT for some photos and then headed to Boeing Field at 6 pm.

787 Update June 15

June 15 1:26 pm

Flight crew is on BOEING 005 N787FT ready to begin a taxi test.

N787FT does a runway steering test then two high speed taxi tests on 16R to check brake and engine performance.



After the taxi tests on 16R, the 787 does a 100 knot taxi on 34L, then returns to the Boeing ramp at 2:15 pm. First flight is planned for Wednesday, June 16.

N787ZA move from the 40-24 to the 45-04 paint hangar. A LAN 787 was later moved from the 40-24 to stall 105 on the flightline. The Air India 777 in the background was moved back to the 40-24 after the 787 move.
