Paine Field May 9

After 33 days in the EMC, Air New Zealand 787-9 ZK-NZE was moved to the fuel dock on May 8.

Hainan Airlines 787 B-2739 is scheduled for a B1 flight on Saturday.

TUI 787 line 191 and Thai Airways 787 line 190 on the 40-51 apron.

  1. It often seems that the most common caption is "...was scheduled for a B-1 flight today, but only taxi tests were conducted," or words to that effect. Is there some regular, common defect that can apparently be detected only during taxi tests? Perhaps it is a simple scheduling or terminology bloop? At times it appears that only a tiny fraction of scheduled "B-1 flights" involve flying.

  2. Is that Lufthansa behind Air New Zealand's 787-9 line 1500?
