RC022 Lufthansa 747-8I D-ABYA attempted a first flight this afternoon but did not make it out on the runway.


  1. Looks like a piece of debris... A rag or something, flapping in the breeze just behind the wheel well.

    1. Its called a RAT .... Ram Air Turbine. Used for emergency backup for certain electrical or battery power should regular systems fail.
      All major airplanes have them.
