It might be that 23 is in better shape. Perhaps 10 through 20 are showing more signs of bad manufacturing in the horizontal stab.. or the ETOPs.

Are all 10 through 20 RoylesRoyce powered planes? It could have something to do with the engines as well if they are. GE isn't having any major issues with their engines so far.Derekhttp://littleakita.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5584741916575410057.post-27902068656758412972011-01-24T14:26:43.197-08:002011-01-24T14:26:43.197-08:00Boeing took a charge against earnings last year du...Boeing took a charge against earnings last year due to the first three 787 (LN 1 - LN 3 now flying) having now market value thus they will not be sold. They're not going to be scrapped.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5584741916575410057.post-71048745249633630952011-01-24T13:59:45.997-08:002011-01-24T13:59:45.997-08:00I heard three of the early planes are being writte...I heard three of the early planes are being written off (scrapped?)... It's probable that 23 is in better shape especially with regards to horizontal stabilizer vs. the other aircraft. Also this is a GE powered machine so they probably want to get the production GE machine up to do ETOPS and F&R.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5584741916575410057.post-15099309082018292292011-01-24T11:22:19.303-08:002011-01-24T11:22:19.303-08:00Ap 8 no longer has engines, they have been removed...Ap 8 no longer has engines, they have been removed for some reason.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
