787 Move


The fatigue test 787 is ready to be moved from the 40-24 to the test rig near the 40-41 Building. An Egypt Air 777 and ANA 787 are moved outside before the fatigue test is towed and parked near the 40-51 where it will be loaded on a trailer and moved on the West Perimeter Road to the test rig.







ANA 787 is moved back inside the factory.



The 787 will be loaded on the trailer in front of the airplane and moved on Sunday. Photo of the move here.

Tom Imrich in 747-8 BOEING 501 has just departed Paine Field on a simulated flight to test pitch and roll maneuvers at an altitude block of 10-12,000 feet.

An LCF arrived this afternoon with a wingset for the 17th 787.

BOEING003 787 N787BX conducted VHF radio checks with Boeing Everett in the morning.

RC521 747-8 conducted a VHF selcal check (FR-DL) with Boeing Everett in the afternoon.



The third 747-8 was moved to the flightline Wednesday night.

BOEING 501 started engines at 9:30 AM.


Still going at 7 PM. No control surface movement observed today.

BOEING 001 flight, 787 N787BA and T-38 N38FT, departed Boeing Field this afternoon and at 2300z entered the flutter track between the Paine Field radial 340 at 19 miles and the Mullan Pass VOR radial 340 at 19 miles, with an altitude block of 290-310.

0036z. Completed testing for the day, RTB Boeing Field.

0100z. On final approach to BFI, on the ground at 0109z.
