Boeing Everett Flightline




Everett flightline May 26, 2009. Work performed on N787BA today included testing the High Lift Control System for flaps and slats, running the RAT twice to check RPM and amperage, and two HF radio checks. In the afternoon LCF N747BC arrived from Wichita with a 787 section 41 nose.

Two APU starts were performed, one using the right common motor controller starter and another using the electric motor pump circuit. In the afternoon a full gear swing test in air mode was conducted as well as a VHF/HF radio check. Boeing Radio closed at 2 PM for the Memorial Day holiday, cutting short the radio test on 2.851 MHz.

Control surfaces were tested in air mode using the center hydraulics system and the right engine thrust reverser was deployed and stowed for 30 cycles on the morning of May 24.

ANA 787 On The Flightline


ANA 787 at the fuel dock, just moved out of the 45-03 paint hangar Tuesday night May 12.
Update May 13 - the aircraft has been moved to the 40-25 in the factory.

787 APU Run





As a Boeing fire truck stood by the fuel dock, the Dreamliner One APU was started and run for about 15 minutes in the early afternoon of May 12.
