N787BA off Paine Field at 10:27 AM. After encountering poor weather conditions while flying over the Strait of Juan De Fuca, the decision was made to land at Boeing Field ETA 1:33 PM. Listen to the 787 takeoff and the flightcrew perform system checks when airborne. Hot digity dang, it works.
Tony - I believe the original plan was a 5.5 hour test flight with the destination to be Boeing Field.
The test flight airtime was always dynamic, 5.5 hours being the ideal, but weather being poor, safer to return the plane early and have the post flight ceremony.
Hey Matt does this mean they are returning to Paine Field and not finishing the 5 1/2 hour test flight?

It's supposed to be at Boeing Field at 1:27 PM
ReplyDeleteFlight Aware shows it heading back to Paine.
ReplyDeleteFlight Aware has it overflying Paine heading south to Boeing Field.
ReplyDeleteHey Matt;
ReplyDeleteWere you trying to sell the takeoff to Rolls? Nice layout with the sign in the background.
